QDS has a focused business unit that specialises in Depot level maintenance, repair and modification of C-130 aircraft including structural and mechanical components. The facilities are located on Royal Australian Air Force Base at Richmond on the northwestern outskirts of Sydney at the foot of the beautiful Blue Mountains. The facility is a Lockheed Martin approved C-130 Hercules Service Centre.

The safety and survival equipment workshop maintains a comprehensive range of equipment for the C-130 and many other types of aircraft.

Comprehensive engineering, logistics and warehouse services are maintained to fully support the C-130 maintenance program. The Maintenance program is sustained by highly experienced aircraft technicians recruited from around the world and trained locally through a comprehensive Apprentice Training Scheme.
The Richmond facility is the Deeper Maintenance venue supporting the RAAF’s fleet of 24 C-130H and C-130J aircraft. |
